Accommodation
There are many accommodation options available for students at the University of St Andrews. The University has many halls of residence which offer students the choice of catered or self-catered rooms. Some shared rooms are available, but the majority of students will live in single study rooms.
Typically, students will live in university-owned accommodation for their first study year, and move into private accommodation for their remaining years at university. However, St Andrews is a relatively small city, and accommodation is somewhat limited; whilst many students will move into private accommodation, many others will stay in university-owned rooms.
