Student Information
Your student years are typically characterised as fun, laid-back and exciting. Whilst they will prove all of these things for the average student, there are still important considerations when you start living in a new city, often away from friends and family for the first time. For many students, budgeting their money is a key issue: whilst the cost of living will dictate how much you need to spend, many students choose to find a part-time job to increase their income.
If you are moving to Edinburgh and are unfamiliar with the city, it is a good idea to get to grips with the transport system and the city's student facilities. Student life in Edinburgh encompasses many different activities, from cultural sightseeing to sports facilities and nights on the town. Whilst you enjoy all your new home town has to offer, bear in mind that every city has its dangers: be conscious of your personal safety, and the security of your possessions, at all times.
