Cost of Living

Research conducted by the British Council has shown that Belfast has one of the lowest costs of living in the UK. Figures on the Queen’s University website also show that students can live comfortably on a relatively small budget.

Obviously, the cost of living will vary depending on where you shop, what you drink and what you do on a night out, but students can expect to pay these prices in most places in Belfast.

For students struggling to keep to their budget, the Queen’s University students' union runs a financial support service, which can offer students advice and also, in some occasions, monetary support. Details of this service can be found on the Queen’s University students' union website www.qubsu.org .
