Housing Corporations

Housing corporations rent, maintain and build apartments without making a profit. The Dutch government gradually transferred their work on social housing to housing corporations, which is why these corporations now play a big role in the Dutch housing market. These corporations concentrate only on providing housing. Currently however they are also making efforts to assist in external factors, such as improving the quality of living, revitalising old neighbourhoods and arranging special apartments for handicapped people.
