How to Find Accommodation in Italy

In Italy it is possible to find accommodation of every possible kind. It is important to consider which type of accommodation will prove the most suitable for you, in order to refine your search and outline the main aspects and specifications of the property you hope to find.

The smallest type of accommodation available is the 'studio apartment'; a small flat with one room (which, according to Italian Law cannot be smaller than 28m²), often suitable for a young professional who needs less space. Two room or three room apartments are usually appropriate for families or professionals who wish to have more living space. University students normally choose a place to stay based on how much it costs. You may be able to find a single room or an affordable double room to rent, or be willing to share a room or a flat with friends.
