Admission Procedures
Admission procedures vary depending on your country of origin and the reason for your stay in France. Due to the EU constitution, residents of member states enjoy free movement and right of residence in other member states. Nationals from a number of other countries can travel to France if they wish; however, the duration of their stay without a visa will be limited. Nationals of some countries will need a visa even to be allowed to travel to France. There are several kinds of visa depending on the reason for and duration of the stay. For asylum seekers, there are a separate set of formalities.
