I have been recommended to try Greenbee wedding insurance to cover our wedding but I am not sure what they cover. I don’t want to contact them and go through the whole process only to find out that they do not cover a certain thing. Does anyone have a typical coverage contract from them that I could take a look at? I will be having a marquee and I want to make sure that they would include this in their cover. Also does it matter when you apply for coverage as our wedding is coming up quite soon but now that I am starting to worry more about what could go wrong I am starting to think it could be the best option to just take out an insurance plan. Anyone had any bad experiences with them?

Perhaps it would be best to have a look on their website. I have just had a look and they do cover marquees but it doesn’t mention anything about when you have to apply for the cover. I would assume that as long as you don’t know of any problems that will arise beforehand, then you take the cover then they can still cover you. My little sister used them for her wedding and she found them very helpful, however (fortunately) nothing went wrong so I wouldn’t know how they are when you actually need to claim.

It’s true, I also would like to know if anyone has been told that they have applied too late for the wedding insurance. It would be interesting to know whether you decided the day before your wedding to take out insurance, whether they would insure you or not. Does anyone know?
