Am I able to contribute to the Unemployment insurance fund (South Africa) from the UK? I am from South Africa and I am sure after my contract ends here I will return so I want to make sure I keep up my contributions. Is this possible? If so how?

It probably is possible and I think you can do so over the internet. But will it be worth it? How long do you have until your contract ends? Are you certain that you will return, what if you get offered a prolongation? How much are the contributions as I imagine you are paying quite a lot into our tax system will you be able to afford the contributions to South Africa? If you know all this, which I am sure you have thought of anyway, you could try here where it seems you can make online contributions https://www.ufiling.co.za/. However be cautious and check the differences for your contributions, entitlement and requirements now that you live abroad, as they may have changed somewhat to when you were living there.
