Am I eligible for unemployment insurance (Edmonton)?

I am trying to find out what I need to qualify for the unemployment insurance Edmonton offers? I have worked for 6 months in my current job but I am sure that I will lose it soon. Will I be able to claim UI Benefits? |

Well I’m in Rhode Island and when the similar thing happened to me they basically told me three things: If you get laid off then you are entitled, if you get fired you are not and if you quit then you may be able to after a certain period of time. So if Edmonton is the same as here then I it will depend, I think you should visit your local UI office they will be able to tell you. |
