Where to find travel insurance (over 65, long stay cover required)?

I have looked everywhere and nowhere seems to want to cover me. Even Moneysuperket.com can’t seem to find me travel insurance. Over 65 & long stay seems to equal a big decline from all providers. I am planning to visit family abroad for at least 5 weeks (Europe) and really need cover. |

I just went on a trip around Europe for 2 months and found a cover from http://www.24drtravel.com/ They allow you to be covered up to 92 days for an extra fee but it also depends on how old you are as they have different categories. I am 66 so I was in the 65-69 category. Not sure how much it increases by if you are 70 and over. But I only paid 40 quid for the basic cover for 2 months which wasn’t so bad, not the cheapest thing ever but at least I was covered. Good luck. |
