Our daughter is terminally ill and she would like to visit Disney land before she dies. We have a letter from her Specialist who confirms that she has no immediate problems with her health but I wondered whether this letter will be enough to get travel insurance. Terminally ill seems to be something they don’t accommodate for even though they could simply have a clause that covers them against death etc, I don’t see what the problem is. Has anyone found a provider that will cover sick people?

I would have thought that it wouldn’t be so hard, as you mentioned they can always cover the child and then cover themselves with clauses regarding the illness so that they wouldn’t have to pay out in the event of something illness related. Perhaps there are specialist insurance companies that could help, I think FreeSpirit has some kind of travel insurance for those with pre existing conditions.
