I was looking online for travel insurance reviews and I had already figured that I would get Sainsbury’s travel insurance. Sainsbury’s already insure my home and car so I thought why not? But after looking online I found that they only got reviews from certain websites as 1,5/5? Has anyone had any experience trying to claim back through Sainsbury’s travel insurance? I would like to know whether they are as bad as some people have made out.

Well if these peoples opinion count for anything then it’s a little better than what you thought (1.8/5) but still doesn’t sound too good http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews10886.html But I suppose it depends on what you are looking for and the likelihood of you needing to claim. So many people can have their valuables covered by their home insurance, check if you think you really need travel insurance.

One of the main problems with brand loyalty is that you are not open to checking new companies and end up sticking with the same one, even if they are not so good. People review for a reason and you looked on there for a reason: to get an overview of their service. If you are able to find a travel insurance on the same website that has a better average, say 3.5/5 then go with them. But don’t be surprised if you don’t get one with a good average, so many review sites are just a place for people to bitch when they have been through crap with a company, hardly anyone gets good service and then decides to write a review. icon_rolleyes.gif
