I'm wondering who really offers the best travel insurance over 65? Saga get a lot of press attention and I'm sure they're very good, but can anyone recommend another insurer so that I can compare? Or are Saga the only ones who insure the 'elderly'?

There are other insurers, although as you point out, Saga are perhaps the most famous. They do specialise in all things 'elderly' (!) which makes them 'experts' in their niche group. Certainly I assume they have a lot of happy customers or we'd hear more about it: or less about them! If you're interested in comparing deals you may also want to consider Halifax and Endsleigh, or Direct Line. Direct Line have no upper age limit for their insurance!
