I am going to be travelling a lot this year and am looking for an annual trip policy. But I was wondering how much extra it costs to get travel insurance with excess waiver in comparison to normal. Is it really worth it long-term when the excess is only £50?

I suppose it depends, I personally believe that it always best to take out the highest cover just in case. You always get in that situation where you don’t get it for the first time in years and then you get mugged 4 times...... costing £200 in excess. I say, if you are travelling a lot then an extra whatever each month on your premium is nothing for peace of mind.
