It seems like everyone offers travel insurance. RAC who used to be known just for car cover, M&S who used to be known for good food and comfy pants... And it's not just travel insurance! Everyone offers everything now! Tesco offer Last Will & Testament kits! When will the madness end? Can't we have insurers for insurance and banks for loans?

And bakers for bread and butchers for meat and a 1950s housewife with time to do the shopping... Unfortunately, no! It's a much bigger problem than basic greed and wanting to earn money by any means possible. The whole of society is set up to maximise spending. The natural result is that people have to spend time earning as much as possible, and are told that time is money and they can't hang about smelling the roses. People work long hours for things they don't need and want to find everything from toothpaste to new tyres in one shop. These companies wouldn't offer these things if no-one ever bought them. Unfortunately, the sad truth is that people are so brainwashed that they go on the RAC website wanting to renew their car cover, insure their trip and their home and find a hotel for their next holiday... It is madness but it'll be this way until customers start being traditionalists again!
