Hi there, am going on a walking holiday in Canada and need some travel insurance! Kelowna is a pretty low key place, we'll be doing a lot of walking and some biking but nothing major. Do I need any special insurance or just basic travel cover?

You should be ok with basic cover as long as you don't have any major health problems. If there's a risk that your 'activity holiday' could cause problems, you may want to pay for extra health cover. Although it's 'just' a walking holiday, a walk to one person is a hike for someone else! If you're fit and healthy and you won't be engaging in any dangerous activities, basic cover should be enough. You can always ask your travel insurance provider / tour organiser for their advice!
