My husband and I are planning to go to Europe for a few weeks and when we went in to get our currency we were offered a deal on Bradford and Bingley travel insurance. Is it really worth taking out? I mean I know the premiums are all ridiculously priced seeing as we are over 60 they want to charge us through the roof, but then there is a part of me that keeps thinking if something were to happen I would never forgive myself. What would you say to be a fair price for 2 62 year olds going abroad for 3 weeks, on a multi-trip holiday across Europe?

It depends, I mean you said they offered you a deal, then it probably means it is a lower cost than other companies. You could try a comparison website but as most of them offer results for the under 60 market you may not get any help there.

Check on a few websites I would say you can still get travel insurance at 62 without getting expensive, bespoke insurance.
