Hey there fellow globe trotters. Am looking for a good Irish travel insurance. Hibernian was recommended by the travel agent, but in the spirit of research I thought I'd ask around! Any tips?

The best thing to do is to research a few typical policies. You need to know that you're covered for things that you'd like to be covered for: not just that you've chosen a popular insurer! The best policy for you will be one that meets the needs of your budget and your trip, even if you'd never have thought to purchase insurance from them before! I only say this because after trawling through all kinds of high-street insurance I ended up purchasing cover from STA after a colleague tipped me off. It was a great policy because it covered the things I needed, not the things everyone else needs!
