Why is OAP Travel Insurance so darn expensive? I cant find a good price anywhere

    Lets be honest here, the main reason they charge OAPs so much is that reckon the likelihood of you falling ill whilst abroad is much higher than that of a 25 year old. Unfair, but probably statistically true

    Well you do have one thing going for you, you should be able to at least find a cheaper version online than any in-store branches will offer you. Even if the premiums are quite high at least you will get a 5-10% discount for buying online.

    I got mine from Travel insurance direct and it only cost me £16 for a two week trip to Europe, which I thought was quite good.
