Why are they offering such low ISA rates @ Barclays? Their cash ISA offers just 0.1% interest!

The basic Barclays Cash ISA offers you a low interest rate but also offers you instant access to your money. You can only get high interest rates if you're prepared to save a lot of money over a longer period of time. If you want to have the option of withdrawing your funds at any time, you have to accept that they won't pay you lots of interest. Remember that any interest you do earn with an ISA is tax free. Check out the Golden ISA from Barclays: it also offers you instant access to funds, but also pays 2.58% AER (variable).
