I don’t really get the whole ISA limits that there are each year and I am hoping someone can just break things down for me and tell me simply, can I open a NatWest ISA (Cash ISA) and transfer funds in to another ISA in the same year? Or does the transfer count as a deposit that would be added to your yearly limit?

You will be fine if you do this, a transfer doesn’t count towards the contribution allowance.
