Me and my husband want to put some money away and make sure that we keep it invested. We agreed that if we both put money separately in to an account we are more likely to take it out, whereas if it’s a joint account we would be more careful, silly I know, but hey at least we admit it |

You can’t find any information because unfortunately there is no such thing. The RBC tax free savings account is covered by legislation that ensures they are only for individual accounts. Have you thought about open a fixed term bond? That way the fine that they charge if you take money out if usually quite high and it will probably stop you from taking money out. But if the tax free incentive is the reason you were pulled to this one then perhaps the best thing to do is both of you open an account but give the other all the papers etc that they would need to access it: That way you would still have to consult the other when wanting to withdraw money |
