I am looking in to opening a new ISA. I used to have ISAs in the past but over the past few years I haven’t quite had enough money to spare. I would like to start saving again and of course love the isdea of tax fere savings. However I have become more cautious in my old age and would like to know whether or not the NatWest ISA is guaranteed under the government banking guarantee scheme. I have had a look on their website but it doesn’t seem to be anywhere I have looked. But perhaps I just missed it. Can someone tell me please and any links to articles or sites confiming this would be much appreciated. Many thanks

Yes it is as long as it I just the Cash ISA you are talking about. The others I don’t think can be guaranteed due to their nature but if it is a cash isa you are after then definitely. I often have a look on money saving expert for help on these types of matters. Here is a link to where I found the info. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/safe-savings
