I am with NatWest and I would like to get a HSBC ISA transfer. I opened my ISA with them a long time ago but now NatWest is offering me a better deal so I need to be able to transfer the fund over. How do I go about doing this? Who deals with it for me, is it NatWest or HSBC?

I would go in to your NatWest branch and get them to agree to the rate that they have offered you, once you have it in writing, they will be able to do everything for you. I transferred my ISA over and my bank did everything for me. They contact your current ISA provider and get them to transfer the funds over and close it for you etc. It saves you the hassle of going in to HSBC and doing all the horrible formalities.

But if you go in to HSBC maybe they would offer you another rate to keep you. No? Is this not possible?
