I don’t understand something about the fixed rate Halifax ISA saver. It says online that the maximum deposit value is 30k but how can that be true when I thought you are only able to have £3,600 per year in an isa?

Well you are partly right, you can only have £3,600 a year in the ISA, but this is just how much you are allowed to deposit each year, not entirely how much will be in the account. For example if you had opened an isa last year and you had kept the £3,600 in it, then come April you would be able to deposit a further £3,600 into the account bringing it up to £7,200 and so on. So imagine if you kept on doing this after 9 years you would be over 30k.
