Do I have to give notice to withdraw from a cash ISA (Halifax)?

I have a cash ISA, Halifax ISA, do I have to notify them if I want to make a withdrawal? Will I have to pay a fine also?

If it is a Variable rate ISA then no you don’t have to inform them, you can make unlimited withdrawals online or by phone so just call them up lol!!!!! There is more information here http://www.halifax.co.uk/savings/tax-free-savings.asp I doubt that you would have to pay because if it says that you can make unlimited withdrawals I doubt they would make you pay for these withdrawals…. It makes no sense. But it depends what type of isa you have as the fixed rate ones you cant withdraw from without closing it….
