I moved abroad last year (France) and left a couple of ISAs back in the UK that I had opened years ago. Now I have a bit of extra money again I was hoping to open another but I am not sure if I am able to open a fixed rate Halifax web saver when I live abroad. I know that you can set them up online but not sure if you have to be actually living in the UK, can anyone tell me?

Well you may not be able to open a normal web saver but have you considered looking into the Halifax International range? They have a fixed rate web saver too and I am guessing it is tailor made for people in your situation if the name is anything to go by. Good luck, let us know if it works icon_wink.gif
