Hi there, what's the best option to guarantee great returns on ISA savings? Fixed rate interest deals? I don't need access to my savings for a year or two, or at least, I could cope without access if I was definitely getting a better deal as a result!

If you can manage without access to your funds for a year or two, fixed rate deals are almost certainly the better option. You tend to get the best interest rates because the bank knows that they won't be paying you interest when you could withdraw your funds from them at any time! And you know that you're getting the highest available rates. At the moment, Leeds Building Society are offering the highest AER: 4.6% tax free on a five year fixed rate cash ISA. You can also get good rates on ISA bonds, e.g. Nationwide Building Society offer 4% interest (also tax free!) on a three year bond cash ISA. Shop around for the right deal for you!
