I am a student and need help trying to understand loans in Joplin, MO. It seems that all of a sudden there are all these options that I didn’t even think off. Is it better to get a federal loan or a private loan? Which one offers the most money?

You shouldn’t be thinking about how much they offer you but how much you will have to pay them back in return.  Student loans are complicated and just because someone is offering you loads doesn’t mean you should take it. With the interest rates some of them take forever to pay off, especially with private loans where they don’t even give you a free period where you don’t need to pay them back. At least gov loans give you 6 months I think.
