How to make a Student Finance (Lancashire) complaint?

Hughes Hughes Topic creator Posts: 4	I am applying to attend university this year and as I received my letter of acceptation from my uni of choice I put through the necessary forms ready for my student loan from Student Finance. Lancashire County council were the department I dealt with, I went specifically in to the office to hand in my forms as I had a few questions and the woman was very helpful. However, I have now been informed that they lost my forms and that due to that I will have to wait longer than normal for my loan to come through even though I was waiting upon that money to pay for my rent. Now I want to make a formal complaint but am not sure how to do so.

Maryam Maryam Posts: 2	Go on their website, I am sure there is all the information you need here http://www.lancashire.gov.uk/acs/sites/student-services/about/customer-service/?siteid=3435&pageid=9877 however you may find it hard to prove that you handed in your forms when you went in person, you have no record of being there and even if so no proof that you handed in those forms unfortunately.
