I haven’t paid my phone bill for 7 months and I am sure that I have some kind of bad credit score by now, I want to change bank accounts but was wondering whether they allow people with bad ratings to open student bank accounts? I really wanted to swap account as NatWest is offering some really good stuff with their account but is it possible with my history? And if so is it easier to just stay with my account that to have to change all my student loan details, transfer over my overdraft etc? |

Not sure if you’ll be able to, I am sure all banks check through ChexSystems for any money you owe even for student accounts. Can’t you just pay off the phone bill? Or perhaps go in and see someone at the bank, maybe there is a way around it? |
