How much is the current State Pension for married couple where only one has worked and paid NI contributions? Is my wife entitled to a full pension based on my record? Do we just double the basic pension?

A married couple will get £152.30 a week / £609.20 a month / £7919.60 a year. A single person gets £95.25 a week / £381 a month / £4953 a year. As a married couple, you get less than two single people would get (£7919.60 a year as opposed to £9906 a year) but you have significantly more financial freedom than someone living alone. The idea is that you can afford to live on a bit less than two singles because you will be able to share the cost of utility bills and food. Hope this helps!
