Problems setting up a Halifax monthly transfer from my nominated account

I had a Halifax saver which recently matured and was then transferred in to a nominated account. I don’t want to withdraw everything, but I would like to try and set up a Halifax monthly transfer so that I have a bit of extra money each month to play with. I have tried doing so online but it keeps telling me that I have to leave a minimum balance in the account or that there might be a problem online and that they cannot complete the transfer. But the thing is that I have tried several times now and it cant be just due to technical problems and I know that it is not about the minimum amount as I have left more than 5k in the account. What should I do? |

I think the only thing you can do is to go in branch and talk to someone. Either that or call the online help team I am sure they will have access to your details and will be able to tell you where the problems is. I have heard that several people have had problems in the past when it comes to transferring after the maturity date and that sometimes it just needs a bit of time. Good luck! |
