I want to compare saving accounts that are specifically aimed at students, but the comparison sites concentrate on student current accounts... Does anyone know one that compares saving accounts too? |

I don't think there are many that offer this service because it's such a small sector: most students have a hard time managing their money without sliding into debt, so savings accounts are few and far between! If you have the money and want to save while studying, why not go for one of the regular accounts on offer? There are lots of different types, and you can get some good deals at the moment: like 6% on regular savings with Abbey (from just £20 a month). Work out how you want to save, e.g. invest or save a bit each month, and then compare deals for this kind of account. You can use the comparison sites to do this! |
