I'm looking at the comparison table of saving accounts & interest rates @ Nationwide. If I have a Regular Savings ISA, does the AER increase to 2.5% when I've saved more than £500? Does anyone have experience of these ISA rates @ Nationwide?

No. Have a closer look at those tables! Under the different interest rates it explains that you can only get the highest AER of 2.5% if you deposit between £500 and £1,000 each month. If you are depositing less than this, your interest rate will be lower. And, this account is not an ISA! The account above is an ISA, but in fact the regular savings account is just a basic account: the interest is subject to tax. The ISA deals are listed lower down and you can get interest rates of up to 4.5% for ISA wrapped bonds.
