How to reinvest pensions payments?

Can we reinvest our pensions payments (the 25% of the fund) when we reach retirement age even if we don't retire? And if so, what are our best reinvestment options?

You can do whatever you like with the lump sum. Just make sure that you're entitled to receive one: some schemes don't give you this option. If you're already wondering about re-investment options, why not rethink removing the lump sum? It's not always a good idea – not if it will reduce your pension fund so dramatically that the annuity you'll be able to purchase is significantly smaller... Have you asked your pensions advisor? From the scheme?
