Is it just me or is the online pension credit DWP calculator seriously over generous? I have been over it a few times now and I cant get my head round it, there is definitely something missing as I have used similar calculators on other pages and I get a much lower estimate. Any ideas as to why it is so high? :-S

I think it is something to do with the Council Tax Benefit. I used one on entitledto.co.uk and that takes the tax into account so therefore gives a more realistic overview of how much you might get. Maybe you should contact them and see what they have to say, I mean if it is a mistake perhaps ask for it in writing as you might be able to try and claim something lol….
