Is it possible to still receive early retirement CPP benefits from the age of 60? I remember reading a few years ago that they were thinking of abolishing it so that you had to wait until 65 but haven’t heard anything since. Does anyone know if this is still possible? If so how much less do you get? Also would I have to stop working to get this?

Yes you can still get it, it says online that it is still available. I don’t think you necessarily have to stop working but you do have to earn below a certain amount per month in order to qualify. I think this page has a lot of useful information, my mom gave it to me and she said that the info on here is reliable. If you are still confused perhaps you could try calling the number at the bottom for help?
