What is the average for pet insurance excess? Are there any that offer insurance without excess? I have a 2 year old German shepherd and need to get a new insurance, I am really not happy with the service my last provider gave. |

I am not sure if they would ever offer insurance without having to pay an excess for a claim as that is the way they stop people from making unsubstantiated claims. After searching online I did quite a few comparisons and ended up going with Argos as they didn’t ask for any money up front. I have also heard that they are very quick when dealing with claims as a friend of mine said they paid the vet directly and then dealt with the claim within a few days. But perhaps shop around a bit if you have specifics in mind. |

I would say the average excess is around 50 quid. But that was for my cat.... not sure if for dogs its higher/lower? |
