I am on the quest for THE perfect pet insurance: low excess, easy to claim, covers pre-existing conditions and has a friendly customer service team. Am I searching for the impossible? Actually when I think about it, I probably could drop the customer service requirement and even the pre-existing conditions but are the first two possible? Wherever I look, claiming costs an excess of about £100 when most of the time the things needed are just below this- say 80-90. So my question is, if I wanted to pay for all of these things myself why would I take out insurance, I might as well just take my chances and hope for the best I could save loads. Any thoughts? Any good news for me on the Perfect pet plan? |

There will never be any insurances without any excess, well without extortionate premiums, otherwise how would they make money especially when some ops cost thousands of pounds. The lowest I found was between £50-£60. I am now with PDSA pet insurance and I really like them as not only do they only charge 50 for excess they also give 20% premium to their charity, which I think is great. |
