Hi there, need some help sorting out my student finance. Coventry council don't seem to have too many details on their website! Any fellow Midlanders with advice?

You should think about loans and grants. Student Loans are available from the Student Loans Company: take a look at their website www.slc.co.uk for details. It's also a good idea to try and organise some 'free' money if you get a chance! Look at the website of the Uni you're hoping to attend: do they have any details of grants or scholarships? You may qualify for some automatically, or need to apply: don't assume you won't be accepted, give it a shot. You may also want to take a look at the job market in your new town. Are there any big companies you could work for as an intern? Or shops looking for assistants? All the money, and the work experience, helps!
