I recently got a quote for pet insurance for rabbits. I have two rabbits and want to make sure they are covered. I got a quote that says some things and I have no idea what they mean. It says vet fees I would be allowed up to £3,000. Does this mean that things like check-ups, spaying, medication for illnesses etc will be free? What does this £3000 actually cover?

No you still have to pay for stuff like injections and spraying. This insurance is usually only if say for example your pet has an accident and the fees can go up to £3000. But you will always have to pay an excess, make sure you know how much it is as most of the time it could simply be cheaper to pay for the costs rather than claim on the insurance. Check some comparison sites though as there are lots of places that do pet insurance. But honestly pet insurance is a total waste of time in my personal experience. You end up paying for everything anyway, and with pets such as rabbits they don’t tend to do much anyway so the risk of them being injured is very low.
