I am claiming benefits and I have a dog, and my brother told me that if something goes wrong Rover I can take him to the vets for free as part of the PDSA pet insurance. Is this right? How does it work? |

Your brother is half right, you can get free treatment but it’s not actually free insurance. But to get free PDSA treatment for your dog you have to live within the catchment area to one of their PetAid Hospitals. If you do live within the area and you are claiming benefits then they will treat your dog for free. |

You can find out whether you are in the catchment area by looking here: http://www.pdsa.org.uk/managed/finder.html |
