Why can’t I get a loan directly through Loanmakers?

Apparently Loanmakers provides loans through Paragon Loans and we recently got accepted by them for a personal loan. But now I am starting to worry. We recently applied for a personal loan directly through Loanmakers and were refused, so why have they accepted our application via Paragon? Are Paragon some kind of scam? Has anyone dealt with them before?

I have never dealt with them but if you have a look at their reviews online I would stay away if I were you. Look at this one in particular: http://www.reviewcentre.com/review36870.html Apparently they were on Watchdog too!!!! Definitely stay away!! Something is wrong here…..
