I don’t have any credit history but a good friend of the family has agreed to be my guarantor for a loan as he has seen my business plan and think I would be able to make it work. Does anyone know which high street lenders offer guarantor loans? I have found quite a few online but I would prefer to actually go in to a branch to sort things out and make sure that my “uncle” can see that I have researched in to it and have found the most reliable source.

I hate to tell you this but guarantor loans are always going to be soooooo high, the interest is always ridiculous. If you have a good idea for a business then you should go to the banks and see what they can offer you with regards to a business loan. You could also try the job centre, they have specialist grants etc for people wanting to create a new business, don’t just automatically go for the easiest option: search!!! There are more options out there.
