I am trying to find an online calculator that goes through all the details with you and lets you input on several levels to get the most precise overview of what the loan outcome will be. I tried the loan calculator Guardian Money online has, but find it too simple. Any others? Do any of the main comparison sites have calculators included in their searches to simplify a step?

I don’t know whether it is more in depth but I like the Capital One personal loans calculator. It has a FAQ part right next to it, plus it breaks down the whole loan process. I got a loan from them too and was very happy with the results. The calculator gave an accurate overview and I was shocked by anything. But I am guessing that online calculators can never be as good as an actual advisor. Perhaps if you want a very in depth explanation it would be better to try and see a financial advisor.
