I was looking to see how much I would be able to borrow and when I started searching for the Barclays loan calculator it seems that you have to log in in order to use it. Is there not a loan calculator that new customers can use or is it just for existing customers? I know they have a mortgage calculator that I can use online but the personal loan section just doesn’t seem to have much.

No I just had a quick nose around on the site and it says you have to go to the nearest branch to apply for a personal loan if you are not already a customer. But that in my opinion is better than an online calculator as they will actually go through everything with you and you can ask questions. You are not just stuck in front of a computer with a figure to look at. You never know there might be different types of loans that you wouldn’t have even found online!
