Can you believe that the Ministry of Defence has the cheek to ask wounded soldiers to pay back some of their MOD pensions? Apparently, some errors were made and a soldier who had received £43000 after having his legs shattered in Afghanistan has been asked to repay the money to the MOD. They are willing to take the money out of his pension so that he will receive only 600/month instead of 900. How can this be possible? Can they even do this, shouldn’t he be entitled to this money?
