How does tax relief on pension contributions work?

I contribute to a company pension scheme and want to know what kind of tax relief on pension contributions is available?

Well this shouldn’t be a problem for you, as part of a company pension scheme your pension contributions should be deducted before you pay gets taxed and therefore you avoid all taxes anyway. But it depends on the type of scheme your employer uses and also what profession you are in. There are some professions that are classed as self-employed even though they have an employer, not sure if this is your case too?????
