I recently saw that Prudential have launched a new marketing campaign regarding annuity rates. Prudential claim that they have excellent rates and have increased their rates to enhance their service. Is this true? Are they now the top of the rates? Do any other companies have similar deals at the moment?

Well you kind of answered your own question, it is a marketing campaign and thus is set to target consumers in to thinking they are the best brand. In most cases you have to do your homework, compare different sites and make sure you know the market as there are so many other companies that offer specialist rates for different requests. For example if you are a smoker, Prudential will not offer you the best rate.
